Get Your Day Started with this Morning Workout Routine

Getting a workout in before your day gets started is one of the best ways to burn some calories while jump starting your body and mind. Try out these moves to get your morning started.

1. Drink Some Water

Drink at least one tall glass of water to re-hydrate your body before getting started with your routine. Six to eight hours is a long time without fluids and you want your muscles and joints to be ready for action. A glass of water will help fuel your brain and muscles and jump start your metabolism. Squeeze in a fresh lemon for some flavor.


2. Warm Up

Start with a warm-up of 2 minutes of jumping jacks, jogging in place or jumping rope to warm up your muscles followed by 1 minute of stretching.

3. Workout

Complete three sets of the below workout, if you have extra time do more sets!

10-15 Military Push Ups

10-15 Jump Squats

10-15 Wide Grip Push Ups

10-15 Burpees

30 seconds of Plank
